Kinetic Watts and Volts, an automotive manufacturing company, has launched an electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Ahilya Nagar, Maharashtra. The plant, covering 87,000 square feet, features automated and robotics-based assembly lines and will be used to produce vehicles for both personal and fleet use, with potential plans to enter export markets.

The facility includes automation, precision assembly lines, and sustainability features aimed at enabling scalable production. Its digitalised and robotics-driven operations are intended to support consistency, efficiency, and responsiveness to market changes.

“This facility represents our commitment to shaping the future of mobility with world-class manufacturing excellence. It’s a proud moment for Kinetic Watts and Volts and for the entire Kinetic Group as we set the stage for a new era of innovation, sustainability, and electric mobility from India,” stated Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman, Kinetic Group.

Kinetic Watts and Volts was founded in September 2022 as the electric vehicle arm of the Kinetic Group. The division builds on the group’s long-standing presence in the automotive sector, which includes earlier products such as the Kinetic DX and Kinetic Luna. The Kinetic Group operates through its flagship company, Kinetic Engineering Limited.
