Nibe Limited, a defence manufacturing company, has secured a purchase order worth INR 226.6 million from a domestic infrastructure and defence company. The contract is for the supply of turret structure assemblies and will be executed in tranches by June 28, 2026.

According to the company, the order does not involve any related party transactions, and neither the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The total contract value includes all applicable taxes and duties.

Nibe Limited is an Indian company primarily focused on defence manufacturing. Originally operating in the synthetic fabrics sector, it has transitioned to producing components and systems for defence applications.

The company designs and delivers integrated defence solutions for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force through several specialised verticals. Its defence structures division manufactures mobile weapon systems, rocket launchers, and modular bridges. Notable products include the Pinaka Launcher System, Modular Bridge System, K9 Vajra tank hull and turret, MRSAM components, BrahMos missile canisters, Road Mobile Launchers, and naval assemblies such as rudder blades and Close-In Weapon Systems (CIWS).

Nibe’s newer space vertical is focused on satellite manufacturing and Earth observation services for defence and strategic applications.

The company operates manufacturing facilities across India, including in Pune (Chakan Industrial Area), Bengaluru, Shirdi, Ratnagiri, and Supa MIDC. Its Pune plant houses a Missiles & Small Arms Complex and machining centres for defence sub-systems, while the Shirdi campus spans 300 acres and supports advanced forging and aerospace production.

The company also invests in research and development, with initiatives such as a dedicated welding training centre and ongoing work on lithium-ion battery packs. Additionally, Nibe manufactures components for electric vehicles, including motors, chargers, and battery systems.
