ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Ltd has appointed Paramjit Singh Chadha as its new Managing Director. Chadha brings nearly 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, having held leadership positions at various component manufacturers and OEMs.
He began his career at Maruti Suzuki and has since worked with Kalyani Brakes, Bosch Chassis Systems, Continental Brakes, and Knorr-Bremse. His background includes work on safety-critical automotive systems, particularly brake systems across multiple vehicle segments. Chadha has also led initiatives related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, manufacturing optimisation, and digitalisation during his tenure at the ADM Group.
Throughout his career, he has held senior roles such as Regional Head, Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Head, Plant Head, Managing Director, and President (Operations). He has been involved in managing three greenfield projects and has contributed to industry bodies, including the ACMA Centre for Excellence and the Indian Value Engineering Society.
