John Cockerill India Limited has appointed Frederic Martin as its Managing Director, effective 1 August 2025, following approval by the board on 29 July 2025.
Martin brings over 35 years of experience in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals and industrial sectors. He has held leadership roles across Europe, China, and the U.S., and joined John Cockerill in 2005 as General Manager of CMI Thermline before rising to Vice President of Operations. He currently serves as Vice President, Metals at John Cockerill Industry and will continue in that capacity alongside his new role.
Martin will relocate to India to lead operational performance and drive talent development within the Indian team. He succeeds Michael Kotas, who will assist with the transition through August before returning to Europe for new responsibilities within the John Cockerill Group.
