Azad Engineering Limited has entered into a long-term arrangement with Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. for the development and manufacturing of aircraft engine components. The company disclosed the development in a stock exchange filing dated 18 November 2025, stating that the agreement is structured as both a Master Terms Agreement and a Purchase Agreement.
According to the filing, the partnership establishes a framework for sustained collaboration intended to enhance Azad’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities. The company said the agreement aligns with national strategic priorities focused on strengthening high-value defence and aerospace production in India.
The agreement covers the manufacturing and development of aircraft engine components for Pratt & Whitney Canada. Detailed commercial terms, including the size of the contract, significant clauses, and execution timelines, were not disclosed due to confidentiality obligations. The contract has been awarded by an international entity and is categorised as a long-term agreement under the reporting format.
Azad stated that Pratt & Whitney Canada has no shareholding in the company, and the engagement does not fall under related-party transactions. There are no board nominations, conflict-of-interest concerns, or share issuances linked to the agreement.
