Zettaone Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. will establish a new Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) facility in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu with an investment of INR 1 billion. The 100,000 sq. ft. facility will support original design manufacturing operations such as PCB assembly, box build, sheet metal, plastic moulding, and potential semiconductor packaging and is expected to create 500 jobs. The company had acquired 7 acres of land in the SIDCO Industrial Estate near Pochampalli for this facility.

Zettaone’s existing facility in the same site was recently expanded from a 15,000 sq. ft. unit to a 25,000 sq. ft. smart facility equipped with Yamaha and Mycronic SMT lines. This factory is digitised using Zettaone’s proprietary MES platform, integrated with SAP and Salesforce. It is described as an Industry 5.0-enabled site and features equipment including flying probe testers, thermal cycling chambers, automated conformal coating, and advanced BGA rework capabilities. Dedicated areas for full product assembly are also part of the facility.

Zettaone holds AS9100 and IATF 16949 certifications and is in the final stages of securing ISO 13485 certification for design and manufacturing. The company said it is recruiting diploma and engineering graduates from Krishnagiri, Salem, and Vellore, supported by an in-house IPC-certified training programme.

The Krishnagiri plant will serve aerospace and defence, automotive, semiconductors, industrial, telecom, and medical sectors. The company also plans to establish a new manufacturing facility in Dallas, USA, while strengthening its marketing offices in Chennai and Pune.

Zettaone began as an engineering services provider and has since evolved into a full OEM and ESDM solutions company. Its engineering headquarters are in Bangalore, with a 20,000 sq. ft. office and a 4,000 sq. ft. R&D lab in Electronics City Phase 1. The company has stated that it aims to achieve USD 100 million in annual revenue within three years.
