Tata AutoComp Systems Limited inaugurated two new manufacturing plants in Sanand, Gujarat, expanding its manufacturing footprint in the western Indian automotive hub. The facilities are operated by TM Automotive Seating System Private Limited and TACO Air International Thermal Systems Private Limited and are intended to support growing demand from automotive original equipment manufacturers.

The two plants take Tata AutoComp’s total number of manufacturing units in Sanand to eight. The facilities are positioned to serve passenger vehicle, electric vehicle and other automotive programmes, with a focus on proximity to customers and localisation of component supply.

“These new facilities mark a significant milestone in Tata AutoComp’s strategic growth, enhancing our ability to support OEM partners and respond effectively to evolving platform requirements,” said Arvind Goel, Vice-Chairman, Tata AutoComp Systems Limited. “Sanand, as a long-term manufacturing hub, provides proximity to key customers and a strong vendor ecosystem, enabling deeper localisation, faster lead times, and a more resilient supply chain.”

Goel said the company plans to establish several additional plants across India during the year as part of its expansion strategy. “We are expanding our capabilities to deliver world-class quality and operational excellence to our customers,” he said.
