MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems Private Limited (MATS), a joint venture between ANAND Group and Germany-based MAHLE Behr GmbH & Co. KG, has expanded its manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat. The expansion adds 1,300 square meters to the existing plant, aiming to increase production capabilities to meet demand from original equipment manufacturers.

The Sanand facility, located within Tata Motors’ Vendor Park, manufactures thermal systems and components for the automotive sector. The expansion is part of MATS’ ongoing efforts to scale up operations in alignment with client requirements.

The inauguration event was attended by representatives from Tata Motors, including Jaydeep Desai, Plant Head of Sanand Plant 2, and Sandeep Kumar, Plant Head of Sanand Plant 1. MATS Chief Operating Officer Vinayak Hegde and the company’s management team were also present.

MATS supplies components such as e-compressors and PTC heaters designed for electric vehicles, including electric SUVs and other platforms. These products are part of the company’s focus on supporting the automotive industry’s transition to electric mobility.

The Sanand facility is one of several MATS manufacturing locations in India, with other plants in Pune, Greater Noida, and Chennai. The company employs over 1,200 people across its operations.
