Online Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. has opened a new facility in Dabaspete, Bengaluru, to manufacture CKD Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPDs). The plant, which covers 3 acres, is equipped with semi-robotic technology and has a production capacity of 400 units per day. These displays are intended for use in smart classrooms, as well as other sectors such as government, research, and development.

The company aims to offer locally manufactured, cost-effective solutions for the Indian market, while contributing to the country’s technological self-reliance. The new plant focuses on producing high-quality IFPDs with advanced features, including improved image quality and touch sensitivity.

Co-founder and CEO of Online Instruments India, Shivanand Mahashetti, emphasized the company’s goal of supporting India’s educational technology sector through this initiative. Additionally, Mahesh Bellad, Co-founder and CFO, highlighted the importance of the facility in advancing local production capabilities in the technology industry.

This development positions Online Instruments India as a domestic producer of interactive displays, aiming to meet demand in the education sector and beyond.
