Imperial Auto, a manufacturer of fluid transmission products for automotive and industrial sectors, has announced the appointment of Vikram Wagh as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective December 20, 2024.

Wagh has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, including leadership roles at Mahindra and JCB. At Mahindra, he led the Farm Division, which produces Mahindra Tractors. Before that, he served as Managing Director for Southeast Asia at JCB, overseeing market expansion.

The time is now right to bring in a leader who can take our vision forward. Imperial Auto, founded in 1969 and based in Faridabad, India, operates over 20 manufacturing facilities globally. The company serves a range of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and emphasizes innovation in fluid transmission technology. In 2022, private equity firm Warburg Pincus invested in the company to support its expansion.
