FM Logistic India has commenced operations at its second multiclient warehouse in Farrukhnagar, Haryana. The facility spans 25,000 square meters, with an additional 3,700 square meters of mezzanine space to support operational efficiency. It has a clear height of 15.2 meters to optimize storage capacity.
According to the company, the warehouse is LEED Gold® certified and incorporates energy-efficient systems aimed at reducing consumption, sustainable water management solutions, and measures designed to lower its carbon footprint.
This expansion follows the company’s first facility in the region, which was inaugurated in April 2022. The initial facility offers 7.6 lakh square feet of warehousing space and is strategically located near the Kundali-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, providing access to major consumption centers in Northern India. It is notable for being the first in India to combine FM Global and LEED Silver certifications.
In January 2023, FM Logistic India expanded its client portfolio by partnering with United Colors of Benetton. Under this collaboration, FM Logistic manages 100,000 square feet of warehousing operations at its Farrukhnagar facility, handling storage, order preparation for various retail channels, and value-added services such as labeling and repackaging.
These developments are part of FM Logistic’s five-year investment plan, announced in March 2019, aiming to strengthen its supply chain capabilities in India.
