Godrej Enterprises Group’s Tooling Business has received recognition at the 2025 Honda Supplier Convention for the fourth consecutive year. The company was acknowledged for its performance in manufacturing, supply chain management, and technological execution.

The annual event evaluates suppliers based on quality, cost efficiency, delivery, and innovation. According to a press release from Godrej Enterprises Group, the recognition reflects its ongoing operations in precision tooling and supply chain delivery for original equipment manufacturers.

Pankaj Abhyankar, Executive Vice President and Business Head – Tooling Business, stated, “This recognition from Honda reaffirms our focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability in tooling and precision engineering. As India’s manufacturing sector grows, we remain dedicated to enhancing our capabilities, strengthening supply chain efficiencies, and expanding our contribution to high-value exports. India’s tooling industry remains on a steady growth path, with market projections indicating a 7-8% CAGR by 2028. Die imports are currently four times higher than exports, highlighting a significant opportunity for us to reduce import dependency, and strengthen India’s global footprint in precision tooling.”

Data from the National Statistical Office (NSO) indicates that India’s manufacturing output rose by 5.5% in January 2025, compared to 3.6% in January 2024. This growth trend is reportedly driven by demand in key sectors and expansion into high-value export segments.

Godrej Enterprises Group operates in a range of manufacturing sectors, including aerospace, defence, energy, construction, and tooling, among others.
