Greaves Cotton Limited has announced the appointment of Parag Satpute as its new Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer. The company stated that Satpute will be responsible for overseeing operations and strategy across its business units, including Greaves Engineering, Greaves Retail, Greaves Technologies, and Excel Controlinkage Private Limited.
Satpute brings nearly three decades of experience in the manufacturing and mobility sectors. Prior to joining Greaves Cotton, he served as President of the Fleet Business at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions. He has also held leadership roles at Bridgestone India and Sandvik, where he advanced to the position of Managing Director and Chairman of the Board (Subsidiaries) for India. His academic credentials include a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University and an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School.

Greaves Cotton confirmed that the current Managing Director, Arup Basu, will step down from his role at the close of business on May 9, 2025, following his resignation.
