InnoMet Technologies, a manufacturer of powder metallurgy products, has secured export orders worth USD 44,435 (approximately INR 3.8 million) for its Metal Powder Division, following its participation in PowderMet2025, held from June 16 to 18 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The company stated that the supplies will be completed within the next three weeks and will be executed under advance payment terms.

According to InnoMet, the order is a direct result of its engagement at PowderMet2025, an international exhibition focused on powder metallurgy and metal additive manufacturing.

InnoMet Technologies, officially known as Innomet Advanced Materials Ltd., is headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, where it also operates its primary manufacturing facility.

The company operates two main divisions. Innomet Powders supplies ferrous and non-ferrous metal/alloy powders such as copper, bronze, stainless steel (grades 304 and 316L), nickel, tin, brass, and custom formulations containing iron, copper, nickel, tin, zinc, and cobalt. These powders are produced using water atomization and post-atomization technologies and are available in various particle sizes.

Innotung manufactures tungsten heavy alloy (THA) components using high-temperature sintering. These products serve industries such as defence (e.g., pre-fragments), aerospace, nautical, radiation shielding, and general engineering. Applications include balance weights, ballasts, tungsten-copper alloys, penetrators, and syringe shields.

InnoMet’s products are used across sectors including powder metallurgy, diamond tools, coatings, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, water purification, automotive, rock cutting, and ordnance. The company supplies both domestic and international markets, with reported exports to the US, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Japan, Italy, New Zealand, Lebanon, and Brunei. According to the company, clients include Tata Steel, BPCL, Kirloskar Brothers, HAL, and Bharat Forge.

The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified for its quality management system covering the production and supply of metal powders and THA components. InnoMet also emphasizes research and development and collaborates with global scientists and Indian research institutions to innovate powder metallurgy products and support import substitution efforts.

According to the company, Innomet Advanced Materials Ltd. launched its IPO on the NSE SME platform in September 2024, as part of its broader expansion strategy in India.
