Volektra Inc. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jendamark India Pvt. Ltd. to industrialize its magnet-free electric motor technology. The collaboration aims to scale up production of Volektra’s patented Virtual Magnet Motor (VMM) platform by leveraging Jendamark’s expertise in automation and manufacturing.
Under the agreement, Jendamark will work with Volektra to develop production lines for the VMM platform, which is designed for electric vehicle and micro-mobility applications. The VMM technology is claimed to eliminate the use of rare earth materials, offering a potential alternative in sustainable electrification.

With Jendamark as our named partner for assembly lines and automation, we aim to move innovations from lab to production efficiently,” said Manish Seth, Founder and CEO of Volektra.

Volektra Inc., based in El Dorado Hills, California, develops electric motors using its Virtual Magnet Motor platform, which is designed to deliver high torque and efficiency without relying on rare earth materials. Jendamark, headquartered in South Africa with operations in India, specializes in turnkey assembly systems, automation, and digital manufacturing for the automotive and EV sectors.
