DCX Systems Limited, a manufacturer of defence and aerospace electronics, has received an industrial license to manufacture radar and avionics systems at its facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The license, granted by the Office of the Development Commissioner, Cochin Special Economic Zone (CSEZ), is valid for 15 years.
The license authorizes the company to produce, assemble, and test radar systems and electronic warfare (EW) systems, as well as to integrate and manufacture avionics and defence electronic equipment. These items are classified under Category-A in the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Security Manual and are considered highly sensitive from a national security standpoint.
The licensed manufacturing activities will be carried out at DCX Systems’ site in the Aerospace SEZ Sector within the Hitech Defence and Aerospace Park in Bengaluru.
