Next Generation Manufacturers, a subsidiary of PG Electroplast, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Maharashtra to set up an integrated manufacturing facility in Kamargaon, Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra. The project involves an investment of INR 10 billion and is expected to create over 5,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The facility will produce air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and allied products. The project falls under the state’s Magnetic Maharashtra initiative, which aims to attract industrial investment.

“This investment underscores PG Group’s commitment to creating world-class consumer electronics manufacturing capacities in India. The new facility at Kamargaon will be highly vertically integrated, boost the local components ecosystem, and generate large-scale employment,” said Vishal Gupta, Managing Director – Finance of PG Electroplast.

The MoU was signed at the Sahyadri State Guest House in Mumbai in the presence of state government officials.

PG Electroplast Limited operates in the electronics manufacturing services and contract manufacturing sector, serving brands in consumer durables and electronics. The company provides solutions across the value chain in original equipment and original design manufacturing, with capabilities in plastic injection moulding and production of washing machines, room air conditioners, air coolers and LED TVs.
