Arham Technologies Limited has acquired a 6,350 square metre land parcel at the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) in Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, to support the expansion of its manufacturing operations through backward integration. The land has been acquired through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Arham Corporate Private Limited, and is located adjacent to its existing manufacturing facility.
The acquisition is intended to strengthen the company’s in-house manufacturing capabilities and support medium- to long-term capacity expansion. The proximity of the new parcel to the existing unit is expected to enable operational integration as additional facilities are developed on the site.
The company said in a stock exchange filing that the land was allotted by the Government of Chhattisgarh at a subsidised rate. According to the disclosure, the market value of the land is INR 43.1 million, while the allotment price paid by the company is INR 5.239 million, resulting in a cost advantage for the planned expansion.
Following the acquisition, Arham Technologies’ total manufacturing land bank is expected to increase to approximately 2.5 times its current area. The company stated that this provides headroom for multi-year capacity additions and is expected to support operating leverage as production volumes scale.
The newly acquired land will be used to establish backward integration manufacturing facilities to internalise processes that are currently outsourced. Planned capabilities include injection moulding, sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing of energy-efficient heavy-duty motors, and the production of premium product components and packaging. The company said these additions are expected to improve supply chain reliability, enhance quality control, and support operating margins over time by reducing dependence on external vendors.
“This land acquisition is an important growth step in strengthening Arham Technologies’ operating platform. Securing a large, adjacent parcel inside the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster at a fraction of market value gives us a clear structural cost edge as we expand our operations,” said Ankit Jain, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Arham Technologies Limited. He added that a portion of a recently proposed preferential fundraise has been allocated for the planned capital expenditure, with the investment expected to generate a minimum asset turnover of eight times.
