IPEC India has inaugurated its second manufacturing facility, Unit II, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, as part of its expansion in the electric vehicle (EV) charging segment. The new unit is expected to support the company’s plan to scale production to 50,000 chargers per month.

The company recently raised USD 3 million from Gruhas, the investment platform co-founded by Nikhil Kamath and Abhijeet Pai. IPEC India reported a 40 percent revenue growth in FY25 and Chief Executive Officer Zohra Khan said the company is targeting a two-fold growth in FY26.

Founded in 2017 as a joint venture between MEHER GROUP, Deki Electronics Ltd, and Sungho Electronics, IPEC India manufactures EV charging technology. The company has delivered more than one million charging products to original equipment manufacturers, including Ather Energy, Bajaj Auto Ltd, and Ampere Electric Vehicles.

IPEC India was recognised with the “Excellence in Localisation” award at the Ather Energy Suppliers’ Meet 2025.

IPEC India focuses on the development and supply of charging technology for the EV sector. Its operations span engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain activities, with a customer base among domestic OEMs.
