Action Construction Equipment Ltd (ACE) will invest INR 4 billion to establish a crane manufacturing facility in Palwal, Haryana. The project is intended to increase domestic production capacity, reduce imports, and meet demand from infrastructure projects such as highways, metros, and industrial parks.

The new plant will be built on a 22-acre site near Delhi-NCR. ACE has also acquired 32 acres in Indore for future expansion. The Palwal location has been chosen for its proximity to industrial corridors and the NCR region, providing logistical benefits for construction equipment deployment and servicing.

According to the company, the facility will help reduce India’s dependence on imported cranes and contribute to its target of doubling revenues and export presence by FY2030. ACE noted that it is already exporting equipment to Europe, the UK, the US, and Australia, supported by adherence to upgraded quality and emissions standards.

Industry estimates referenced in the announcement indicate that the Indian construction equipment market is expected to expand five-fold by FY2026, with 26 percent growth reported in FY2024. Local manufacturers are also seeking to gain international market share, particularly as buyers diversify supply chains away from Chinese sources.

ACE stated that its competitive focus will include capacity expansion, innovation, and the use of technologies such as AI, IoT, and telematics to align with evolving customer requirements in domestic and overseas markets.

ACE, founded in 1995 and headquartered in Faridabad, Haryana, manufactures construction and material handling equipment, including cranes, tractors, and other heavy machinery. The company operates across multiple industry sectors including infrastructure, construction, and logistics.
