Aeromeccanica Stranich S.p.A., the holding company of Stranich Fans and Duscon India Pvt Ltd, has become part of the Baglioni S.p.A. industrial group, marking a change in ownership structure aimed at supporting international growth while maintaining operational continuity. The transaction also includes the integration of Acovent s.r.l., Stranich Fans and Duscon India Pvt Ltd into the Baglioni Group.

The transaction establishes a new phase of structured development for Aeromeccanica Stranich, which will operate within a larger industrial group with enhanced organisational processes and higher investment capacity. Aeromeccanica Stranich will retain its brand identity, managerial autonomy, and technical capabilities following the transaction.

The transaction also reinforces Baglioni Group’s international footprint through Aeromeccanica Stranich’s overseas operations. In 2017, AS Industries established its Indian subsidiary, Stranich Fans and Duscon India Pvt Ltd, to support manufacturing, commercial, and service activities for the Indian and wider Asian markets. The subsidiary is headquartered in Hyderabad and operates as a wholly owned unit of Aeromeccanica Stranich S.p.A., Italy.

Stranich Fans and Duscon India commenced operations in 2017 and began production in 2019. The facility spans 3,500 square metres and is equipped with CNC plasma cutting, CNC spinning, and dynamic balancing systems capable of handling impellers up to five metres in diameter and loads of up to 20 tonnes. Its testing infrastructure supports fan testing with motor ratings up to 1.9 megawatts across voltage levels ranging from 415 volts to 11 kilovolts, in compliance with AMCA 201 standards.

Customers served by the Indian subsidiary include Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Thermax, JSW, Indian Oil, Tata Group companies, and Engineers India Limited.
