Bull Machines, a Coimbatore-based manufacturer of backhoe loaders, is set to expand its production capacity, doubling its output from 4,500 to 9,000 units per year. The company plans to achieve this target in the 2025-26 financial year, with an initial investment of INR 1.2 billion as part of a phased expansion strategy. The project was approved at the Global Investors Meet in Tamil Nadu.

As part of its growth plan, Bull Machines introduced its new SuperSmart backhoe loader, which complies with BS5-CEV Stage V environmental regulations. The machine is available with two engine options: a Kirloskar engine and an Ashok Leyland turbo intercooled engine. The company stated that its patented APM technology is designed to improve fuel efficiency and operational performance.

According to Managing Director V. Parthiban, Bull Machines sold 2,200 units in India and exported 3,000 units in the past year. The company aims to expand its global presence from 65 to 100 countries in the coming years. Over the past three years, it has recorded an average compound annual growth rate of 47%.

The expansion aligns with the company’s goal of increasing its global ranking in the backhoe loader segment.
