Tsubaki Kabelschlepp GmbH, a manufacture of conveyor and protection systems, has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Bengaluru’s KIADB Industrial Area at Adinarayanahosahalli, Doddaballapura. Launched via its Indian subsidiary KabelSchlepp India Private Limited, the expansion consolidates the two business units of cable carriers systems (CCS) and conveyors and protective covers (CAPS) under one roof.

The facility, spanning an area of 3,000 square metres, was inaugurated in the presence of Takatoshi Kimura, President of Tsubakimoto Chain Co., Henning Preis, President and CEO of Tsubaki Kabelschlepp GmbH, and Srinivas KP, Managing Director of KABELSCHLEPP India Pvt. Ltd. It aims to boost local production capacity, shorten delivery timelines, and strengthen customer support across India and the broader region.

This investment aligns with Tsubaki Group’s global strategy to leverage regional operations in meeting market demand and supporting industrial growth. KabelSchlepp India forms part of the Tsubakimoto Group’s cable-carrier business, which has over 40 subsidiaries and dozens of manufacturing sites worldwide.

During the inauguration, Srinivas KP spoke about the relationship between suppliers, customers, and the company, using an example to illustrate their close connection. Takatoshi Kimura highlighted the role of KabelSchlepp India within the Tsubaki Group and noted its development since operations began in 2006. Henning Preis said the company would continue to expand as part of a shared global strategy and underlined the importance of India in the group’s international operations.

Established in August 2006, KabelSchlepp India initially focused on importing and assembling components. Over time, the company expanded into local manufacturing of telescopic covers and other system components.

KabelSchlepp supplies cable carriers, guideway protection systems, and conveyor solutions tailored for sectors such as automotive, automation, machine tools, and industrial manufacturing. The Indian expansion is expected to integrate global R&D with local production to better serve market needs. Since joining the Tsubakimoto Group in 2010, it has led the group’s global cable‑carrier business unit. In India, operations are handled by KabelSchlepp India Private Limited, based in Bengaluru.
