Mount Roofing & Structures Private Limited, a manufacturer of PUF panels and a solutions provider in pre-engineered buildings (PEB) and polycarbonate sheets, inaugurated its second fully automated continuous sandwich panel manufacturing line and a new PEB manufacturing plant at its integrated campus in Tumkur, Karnataka, on 9 December 2025. The expansion forms part of a total investment of INR 2.5 billion and is intended to scale production capacity and broaden the company’s product portfolio.
According to a press release issued by Mount Roofing & Structures Private Limited, the integrated facility spans about 22 acres with a built-up area of 400,000 square feet. The company stated that the enhanced complex marks an advancement in its manufacturing scale and operational capabilities.
With the commissioning of the new line, Mount has increased its monthly production capacity for sandwich PUF panels to 700,000 square metres. The company’s monthly output capabilities now include 2,500 tonnes for PEB, 1,000 tonnes for cold-formed steel sections, and 350 tonnes for polycarbonate sheets. The expanded facility supports product categories such as solar panel hi-rib roof profiles, hidden fastener wall profiles, Rockwool sandwich panels, cold room panels between 30 millimetres and 200 millimetres in thickness, clean room panels and doors, camlocks, and riser panels.
The press release noted that the integrated complex is expected to create employment for more than 400 personnel. The company said that the expansion strengthens its presence in high-demand markets across South India, South-East India, and parts of Central India, with future focus areas including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.
Mount has also upgraded its PEB division with automated paint booths, shot-blasting systems, and increased fabrication and cold-formed production capacity. In polycarbonate solutions, the company now offers an expanded set of louvers, bases, and solid sheet profiles such as diamond, raindrop, flute, and higher embossed variants.
