Mahindra Logistics, a provider of logistics and mobility solutions, has launched a new warehousing facility in Phaltan, Maharashtra, spanning over 300,000 square feet. The facility will support Cummins India’s supply chain operations by serving as a centralised intake point, consolidating products from multiple sources for nationwide distribution.

The Phaltan facility will enable Mahindra Logistics to manage inbound and outbound logistics, as well as last-mile dispatches for Cummins India. According to the company, the integrated facility is intended to improve supply chain agility and help Cummins respond to changing market demands.

The facility includes features such as renewable energy operations, solar installations, and advanced water treatment systems. Mahindra Logistics stated that the project is expected to generate more than 500 local jobs.
