Aimtron Electronics Limited, an electronics system design and manufacturing company, has signed an Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) contract worth INR 975.5 million with a US-based firm in the digital infrastructure and continuity solutions sector.
Under the agreement, Aimtron will design, develop, and manufacture an advanced, transformer-free Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system. The contract includes end-to-end delivery, from concept design and prototyping to validation and mass production. The focus is on compact, energy-efficient, and space-optimized power solutions for electronic equipment.
The company stated that the agreement marks a long-term collaboration, with potential for further opportunities in the future.
Aimtron noted that the contract supports its broader strategy to offer intellectual property-led power products developed and manufactured in India for international deployment. The company is also expanding its offerings to serve sectors such as aerospace and defence, telecom and network security, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
Founded in 2011, Aimtron Electronics provides electronics manufacturing services, including PCB assembly, box-build, and design solutions. The company operates facilities in Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and the USA. Its customers span industries such as automotive, medical, aerospace, industrial, power, gaming, IoT, and robotics.
