Panasonic Life Solutions India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation, has inaugurated a new electrical construction materials (ECM) manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. This facility, built to Industry 4.0 standards, represents the company’s first manufacturing base in Southern India and seventh in the country.
The facility, spanning 1,33,584 square meters with an operational floor area of 37,025 square meters, required an investment of INR 300 crore in its first phase. A total investment of INR 600 crore is planned across two phases, with plans to manufacture additional products such as switchgear, wires, and indoor air quality solutions.
