JK Cement has ordered an MVR 6000 R-6 vertical roller mill from Gebr. Pfeiffer for its upcoming greenfield cement plant in Jaisalmer. The equipment is intended for cement raw material grinding and is planned for completion by the end of 2026.
The mill is equipped with a drive power of 7,400 kW and is designed for a throughput of 1,200 tonnes per hour. The company stated that an integrated SLS 6300 VR classifier will be used to achieve a product fineness of 1.5 percent residue on a 212-micrometre screen.
The mill’s design allows for a compact layout with reduced space requirements for the grinding plant. Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Private Limited and Gebr. Pfeiffer SE in Germany are collaborating on the project.
